National Do Not Call List for Home & Cell Phones

Update: According to the TVC Alert, the national cell phone directory will used to provide a wireless directory-assistance service and not sold to third parties. Cell phone owners will have to opt-in. ————————————– It appears that a national directory of cell phone numbers is on the horizon. Luckily, the Federal Trade Commission has set up a do not call list that includes both home and mobile phone numbers. You may also call 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you wish to register. Recently we reminded readers about the need to re-register for Wisconsin’s Do Not Call Registry. Thanks to my colleague, Sue Center, for the tip.
