The Downsides of Blogging

Robert Ambrogi reports on a recent article on the downsides of blogging from the Chicago Tribune. The article opens with one woman’s decision to halt her company’s 3-year-old blog.

“I believe blogging is not profitable,” [she] said, “and there are better ways to connect with your clients.”

The article warns businesses about jumping too quickly on the blogging band wagon and offers advice on the drawbacks of blogging.

In his blog post, Ambrogi offers his own comments about the effectiveness of blogs. But just as interesting are the comments to his post, one of which is from the woman profiled in the article who states that some of her comments were taken out of context.
