UW Law Library’s Eric Taylor Named to AALS 2023 Pro Bono Honor Roll

Happy National Pro Bono Week!  In celebration, the AALS Section on Pro Bono & Access to Justice has announced the inductees to the 2023 Pro Bono Honor Roll.  UW Law Library is pleased that our own Eric Taylor has been named to this year’s honor roll.  Photo of Eric Taylor

The Pro Bono Honor Roll acknowledges and highlights the pro bono work of individuals engaging in, expanding, and/or supporting their law school community in providing pro bono legal services.

As the Evening Reference Librarian & Acquisitions Assistant, Eric was recognized for providing outstanding research support to our community.  If you’ve ever visited UW Law Library in the evenings or on the weekend, chances are that Eric has given you a helping hand.

With a deep understanding of legal sources, he supports a wide array of library visitors. Notably, pro se patrons, who often visit during off-peak hours, find a knowledgeable and patient source of support in Eric. His dedication ensures that everyone, from students and faculty, to legal professionals, to those navigating their own legal challenges, has access to the information they need.  And at the Law Library, we believe that access to legal information is essential to achieve access to justice.
