The University of Wisconsin Law Library is excited to announce significant upgrades to the Habush, Habush & Rottier Reading Room, thanks to a generous donation from the firm. These renovations further enhance a space already recognized for its beauty – ELLE Decor named UW Law Library one of “The 50 Best Libraries In The United States,” largely due to the stunning Habush, Habush & Rottier Reading Room.
Key improvements include:
- Increased Seating Capacity: By removing several book stacks, we’ve opened up the space to accommodate more students. This change directly responds to frequent requests for additional seating in this popular, naturally lit study area.
- Diverse Study Spaces: We’ve introduced new privacy pods, offering students dedicated areas for focused, individual work. These pods provide a fresh option for those seeking a more secluded study environment.
- Comfort Upgrades: Many existing chairs have been reupholstered, ensuring comfort during long study sessions.
These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to providing an optimal learning environment for our law students. By offering a variety of study spaces within this single room, we’re better equipped to meet the diverse needs of our student body.
